Gigi has always been very independent and pretty advanced. She held her head up at a day old. She weened herself off nursing at 7 months, started walking at 8.5 and potty training was pretty much a cinch! When it came time to get rid of the "baba" that wasn't such a bad time either. So when it's comes to her binky and her blanky I haven't pushed the matter. I figure like all the other's she'll gradually out grow them and now at almost 4 I see it beginning to happen. 
But, Boy o' Boy does Gigi Love them! I think a part of me does too because it keeps a bit of my baby around :)
